It's fall everybody, it's fall. I don't particularly like fall, I don't hate it either. To be honest fall is quite nice, but after fall there comes winter and I very much dislike winter. So I guess I am no fall fan because I know what's happening and the end of it. I like the mysticism fall has to offer, the fog and gloomy days, the sun hitting all the colourful leaves, the storms, but eventually I wake up one morning and everything is frozen, it's dark and cold and it is no longer fall, but winter. So I guess whenever I go out and enjoy fall, in the back of my head there is that little voice telling me that this beauty is going to have a sudden and harsh end and I will not enjoy the following three months at all. Because to me there is nothing absolutely nothing nice about winter whatsoever. Not even snow or Christmas. It's just not my season and one day I am sure we will live in a place without winters. Fingers crossed!

Back to fall though for now. What I also like about fall are apples. I love them to be exact. It's just such a versatile fruit. It works in salads, in desserts, cakes or in breakfasts. And it pairs wonderfully with caramel. My husband is obsessed with everything caramel and very happy about apple season, because apple season is "caramel season”. As caramel is not the most healthy kind of treat I am very happy that I found this healthy vegan and still sooo delicious way of making it. This way we can have caramel for breakfast and dessert and it is not even remotely a guilty pleasure. Enjoy!
